Engine on Passanger Crusie fail in Killybegs.

Cruise ship visiting Killybegs has engine problems and the passengers had to be sent home:
"The 487 passengers aboard MV Voyager will today be taken back to Portsmouth, where the cruise started last Saturday. The Celtic Treasures cruise was due to leave Killybegs, in County Donegal, Ireland on Tuesday but remains there."

A Similar Cruise Ship Berthed at Killybegs


 It sounds like some of the passengers weren't too enthralled about being stuck in Killybegs, or maybe it was because of the length of time they were there:
"She told The News: ‘We’ve been stuck here since Tuesday. Killybegs is a very small town, you can go round it in ten minutes."
I'm surprised the Cruise company didn't try and arrange some site-seeing tours as there's some great sightseeing around there.

Pigs On The Run in Mullinasole: Sunday June 2nd 2013

Pigs On The Run To Bring Home Bacon for the second year at Mullinasole - "Live Pig Racing" at the Salmon Inn, in Mullinasole Sunday 2nd June at 3.30p.m.

 €10 euro a pig and be in with a chance of winning €100 euro.

Sponsorship cards are now available from any of the following committee members Martin Quinn, Darragh Quinn, Sinéad McGowan, Thomas McGarrigle, Benny McGuinness, Margaret McGuinness, Jackie Carron, Siobhán McGowan, Marion McGarrigle, Martin Cassidy and Pauric Molloy.

€10,000 was raised at last year's event and we hope to do the same this year, with lots of surprises on the day. Proceeds are in aid of Cregg House, Sligo.
